June Curriculum : Ocean Explorers

Let’s go to the beach! This month at Phase, we’ll explore the sand, waves and seashells. Then we will dive into the sea to discover what lies beneath. There is so much to explore and learn about the ocean.

Activities We’ll Do
+ In Art Class, we will do a Rainbow Fish Craft using sequins and watercolors to decorate paper plates like the Rainbow Fish from the book.
+ In Culinary Class, we will make Under the Sea Graham Crackers using vanilla frosting tinted blue to spread on graham crackers and use goldfish crackers and sprinkles to make an ocean scene.
+ in Music & Movement class, we will learn classic dance moves like The Bunny Hop, The Twist, and The Bop to classic music by the Beach Boys.
