At Phase Learning Center, we believe every child is an artist and a scientist. That’s why this summer, we’re launching COSMIC Adventures—a 10-week journey designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and fun!
Each week, kids (K-12) will explore the universe through exciting field trips, hands-on experiments, games, water activities, and visits from guest experts. Plus, they’ll dance to world beats with a live DJ! Snacks are provided!

BLAST OFF (May 26-30)
In Week 1’s adventure, we Blast Off and inspire kids with innovations and journeys into galaxies unknown. Kids will learn how space exploration has shaped our everyday world, from telescopes to rockets, from satellite orbits to discoveries that impact life as we know it. Imagine your child exclaiming, “Wow, look at what we can do!” as they delve into the wonders of infinity and beyond.
INVISIBLE FORCE (June 2-6)
Week 2’s adventure introduces The Invisible Force of gravity, blending fun with learning through sports and physics. Kids will become intrigued at the role gravity has played in technologies and inventions to move and transport people and things across this planet. Your child will marvel at the magic that keeps us grounded, thinking, “Wow, look at you move.”
SECRET CODES (June 9-13)
With Secret Codes in Week 3, your child will uncover the mysteries of Earth’s geology and geography, gaining insights into the terrains and landscapes around us. They will study rocks, explore virtual landscapes, and re-imagine the place where they call home. We hope to inspire them to love where they live. That’s why we will keep saying over and over, “Wow, look at where you are in the world.”
CHASING CLOUDS (June 16-20 - Closed on the 19th)
In Week 4, we will be Chasing Clouds, to learn how the cosmos impacts seasons, weather, and climate. When the sky is blue, or storms are brewing, kids can realize ways to respect and navigate the changes around them. Maybe when they see the wide range of moods in the clouds, they will also learn to respect their own moods too. Nature has a way of teaching us important lessons about ourselves. This world is impressive enough to illustrate the power of transformation. Expect your kids to look out your window and say “Wow, look at what is changing.”
MAKE WAVES (June 23-27)
Week 5’s adventure, Make Waves, will take kids even deeper into the essential role of water in our world. Besides a week packed with water activities, kids will explore the secrets in the oceans and the magic life that rivers give to us all. They will be introduced to humanity’s pursuit of fresh water supplies and the power that harnessing currents can have to keep this planet and our communities healthy. Kids will be challenged with the phrase, “Wow, look a little deeper.”
COLOR YOUR WORLD (June 30-July 3)
Color Your World in Week 6 reveals the beauty and power of light through art and science. We will show your child how colors, light and shadows influence painting, photography and film. They will be wowed by how sunlight and starlight matter so much to the vitality of a living world. We hope their imaginary journey through newly discovered galaxies will inspire them to see their own potential to shine as we exclaim, “Wow, look at what you can see.”
SOLAR GARDENS (July 7-11)
Week 7’s adventure blooms with Solar Gardens. Kids will learn about plant life and growth. From rainforests to backyard gardens, we hope they will be inspired at what gravity, light, and water can do with a little bit of earth. We think it’s a good thing for kids to get their hands dirty. We want them to come home inspired be some experts to say, “Wow, look at what is changing.”
ANIMAL KINGDOM (July 14-18)
During Week 8’s Animal Kingdom, kids will investigate the fascinating world of animals and ecosystems. They will be introduced a wide range of diverse creatures that crawl, fly or run across this planet. Along with a few zoology experts they will be challenged to learn lessons from their surrounding animal friends. Although we promise not to send any pets home, we guarantee a picture or two that makes you say, “Wow, look at that!”
THIS HUMAN PLANET (July 21-25)
Week 9’s adventure, This Human Planet explores human biology and culture. It will inspire kids to celebrate their unique and individual skills and personalities. They will be invited to experience music, food, and culture from other places on this diverse planet. We want them to go through life with such a mutual fascination with others they start saying, “Wow, look at the people around you.”
FINAL ORBIT (July 28-Aug 1)
Finally, Week 10’s adventure ties everything together in a Final Orbit. As the world spins, we will help each family discover and leverage the unique rhythms of their home as they grow closer together. The power of living one day at a time and as sure as the sun comes up, we want parents to start their daily adventure with a simple expression like “Wow, look at you today.”
