A New Face on a Historic Space

For nearly a century, the Navy Yard Car Barn served as the last stop on the Red Line, repairing and rerouting streetcars across the nation’s capital for the Capital Transit Company. This historic car barn is being transformed into Capital Turnaround, a mixed-used facility home to Phase Family Learning Center, event space and more.
